Project Details: Front end lead. Full build of HTML/CSS/JS and Flash from design comps. Designed, created and developed "yes/no" animation behavior using Flash/ActionScript and AfterEffects. Handled expectations from product and marketing teams to deliver experience after airing of season finale. Worked with Simpsons animators to propose animation in-line with Simpsons style (see video). Hooked up social sharing with Facebook and Twitter. Voting took place between seasons and captured millions of votes to in-house database.

Project Details: Front end lead. Full build of HTML/CSS/JS from design comps. Designed and developed all user interaction. Proposed and developed animation for remote control "couch gag" switching functionality, working closely with show producers and animators and managing expectations (see below screencap). Ensured site could handle traffic and data uploading. Show producers received thousands of submissions for the contest.

Role: Senior UX Developer
Project Details: Led UX and development on various projects. Created multiple market research data visualization dashboards using D3 (see screengrab below- content blurred for client data protection). Introduced R as data science solution for team. Manipulated data in R and displayed it as web pages using Shiny server. Output data as JSON for consumption with D3 and replaced a data visualization tool the company was previously paying tens of thousands of dollars annually to use. Proof of concept brought this tool in house.
Drove UX for website redesign, finding solutions to keep users from having to navigate 10+ pages deep for content. Created a single-page application "feel" to a Drupal site with hundreds of pieces of content and pages. Prototyped "headless" Drupal solution, using Angular on the front end, but ended up writing functionality from scratch, keeping the code lean and the logic straightforward and maintainable.
Created engaging animations throughout the site and E Source homepage to capture user attention.

Project Details: Website for digital screenwriting magazine Backstory. Created an online hub for the magazine, its screening series, and podcast, and integrated with Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite for a web-readable version of the magazine. Updated WordPress templates, wrote custom plugins and migrated site to new host.
